We understand it might come as a surprise to see the coupon barcode flickering! Rest assured, its technology designed to prevent discount coupons being misused, we encrypt them but they still scan just like a normal barcode at the checkout counter.

Why didn’t the scanner read the barcode?

If the scanner didn't read your barcode, don't worry; scanners can be temperamental at times. We recommend whilst waiting in the queue, you turn up the brightness settings on your phone to high and ensure you have a phone signal/wifi connection. Try to resist the urge to open your coupon until you're ready to pay, once it's opened you only have a few minutes to spend it and it may take the cashier a couple of scans to capture the code. When presenting the code, hold your phone still for about 3-4 seconds, you might find it easier to place your phone down on a flat surface for the cashier to scan it from above. If that still doesn't work, please ask the cashier to manually enter the barcode number into the till to ensure you can still redeem your coupon. If you continue to experience issues, please speak to the store manager for assistance. Remember coupons can only be used for the items listed on the coupon and cannot be used in conjunction with other offers or promotions.
