We know how disappointing it can be to see a message saying your code is “already scanned” or “already used”. In most cases, this means the code really has already been scanned and added to a balance once (by you or someone else), or the wrong code is being scanned or typed. Don’t worry - there are a few quick checks you can try before reaching out for help.

Note: This article is about Pampers app codes for rewards (scanning or typing a code in the app). It doesn’t cover website-only promotions, coupon codes ordered as a reward or retailer-specific offers.

Step 1 - Has this code already been added to your account?

Sometimes a code goes through, but it’s not obvious at first. Have a think—could you have:

• Scanned the pack when you bought it, then forgotten?
• Entered several codes at once and lost track?
• Changed phone or reinstalled the app (your codes stay with your account, not your device)?

If any of these might apply, the app is behaving as designed as each code can only be redeemed once.

1. Open your Pampers Rewards app

2. Head to Profile > History / My Balance

3. Look for a transaction that matches your pack (size, type, and date). If the code appears there, it’s already been added.

Step 2 - Could someone else in your household have used it?

Codes can only be used once, even within the same family. Has a partner, grandparent, or someone else who helps with shopping or baby care scanned the pack on their own Pampers Rewards account?

Step 3 - Try entering the code manually

Sometimes the camera picks up the wrong character. Choose “Type in a code” in the app and enter it carefully. 

1. Open the Pampers Rewards app.

2. Click the red plus button at the bottom of the screen

3. Choose “Type in a code” or a similar manual entry option.

4. Carefully type the code exactly as printed, watching out for these common mix-ups:

   • O (letter O) vs 0 (zero)

   • I (capital i) vs 1 (one)

   • S (letter s) vs 5 (five)

   • B (capital b) vs 8 (eight)

5. If it works, your Pampers Cash will show up in your balance and history.

• A close-up of the code or QR
• Purchase date and store
