If you’re not getting your 2FA (Two‑Factor Authentication) code by SMS Text, it’s often because the message is being sent to the wrong number, your phone can’t receive messages properly at that moment, or you’ve requested too many codes in a short time. Usually, checking the mobile number in the app, and using the “Resend code” option carefully will help you get your code and access your account.
Note: This article is only for Pampers App 2FA codes when the app says it has sent you a 2FA code by SMS, but you don’t see it. It does not cover 2FA codes sent by email, 2FA or sign‑in issues on any Pampers website or problems with reward codes from packs (the codes you scan or type to collect points).
Step 1 - Check the Mobile number shown in the app
- On the 2FA screen, look for the message: “We’ve sent a verification code to +[country code] *** *** 1234”
- Look closely at the last digits and the country code (for example, +44 for the UK, +48 for Poland).
- Is this your phone number (including the country code)?
- Do you currently use this SIM / phone line on the device you’re holding?
- If the number is clearly wrong (for example, an old number you no longer use), skip ahead to Step 3.
- If the number is correct and you can use that phone for calls/texts, continue to Step 2.
Step 2 - Make sure your phone can receive SMS messages
- Check your signal and settings
- Look at your phone’s status bar:
- Make sure Airplane mode is turned off.
- Check that you have mobile signal bars showing.
- If you’re connected only to Wi‑Fi:
- That’s fine for the app, but you still need mobile signal to receive a regular SMS.
- If possible, move to a place with better reception or go near a window.
- Confirm you can receive other SMS
- Ask a friend or family member to send you a quick test text message.
- Does their message arrive normally in your Messages app?
- If test messages do not arrive:
- Restart your phone: turn it off and on again.
- After restarting, check for the test message and then try the Pampers 2FA code again.
- If no SMS at all are arriving, you may need to contact your mobile network provider, because this points to a general SMS issue rather than a Pampers‑specific problem.
- If you can receive other SMS but not the Pampers code, continue below.
Step 3 - Recheck Messages app for the Pampers SMS
Sometimes the code has arrived, but it’s easy to miss.
- Open your phone's Messages app (or whatever app you normally use for SMS).
- Scroll to the top of the list to see the most recent conversations.
- Look for any of the following:
- A new message from a short code number (for example, a 5‑ or 6‑digit sender).
- A new message from Pampers or Pampers Club.
- Open any new or unread message and check if it says something like: “Your Pampers verification code is: 123456”
- Make sure you’re:
- Checking on the same phone that the app screen shows (the one with the number you confirmed in Step 1).
- Not filtering messages in a way that hides unknown senders.
- Haven't archived a previous chat.
- If you still don’t see any Pampers SMS, move on to the next section.
Step 4 - If the mobile number is wrong or you can’t access it
- On the 2FA screen, look for an option like:
- “Back”
- A back arrow in the top‑left corner
- “Cancel” or similar
- Tap this to go back to the previous step in the app (for example, the login or sign‑up screen where you entered your phone number or contact details).
- Carefully re‑enter your current, correct mobile number:
- Include the correct country code (e.g. +48 for Poland).
- Double‑check all digits.
- Make sure there are no extra spaces.
- Continue with the flow and, when asked again, choose to receive the verification code by SMS.
Step 4 - Use “Resend code” carefully
- Tap “Resend code” once, then wait a few minutes before checking your SMS.
- Only use the newest code SMS.
- Don’t tap “Resend” repeatedly, doing this too many times may temporarily stop new emails for security reasons.
What if I still don’t receive my 2FA code SMS?
If you’ve checked you message history, confirmed your mobile number is correct, waited, and still can’t see a 2FA code email, your provider may be blocking these messages or there could be a technical issue. Next, gather a few details and contact Pampers support for help.
What you can do:
- Double-check all your email folders.
- Look in your Inbox, Spam/Junk, and any “Promotions,” “Updates,” or “Other” tabs.
- Confirm the email address shown in the app is yours.
- On the code screen, check the partially hidden email address.
- Wait a short while.
- Sometimes emails can be delayed by a few minutes.
- Add Pampers to your safe senders list.
- In your email settings, add Pampers as a trusted sender.
- If you still get nothing:
- Using the 'Contact Us' button in the footer below let us know your email address, what you were doing, and roughly when you last tried.
What if I am unable to change an incorrect mobile number associated with my account?
Sometimes the 2FA step does not let you change your number directly.
Make a note of:
The phone number the app is showing (even if it’s wrong).
Whether you’re trying to register a new account, log in to an existing one, or change your profile details.
Any error messages you see.
Then, 'Contact Us' using the button in the website footer below, explaining “I’m stuck on a 2FA SMS screen. The code is being sent to a phone number I can’t access anymore, and I can’t change it in the app.”
The support team can then guide you through the next steps.
What does it mean if I see a “Too many attempts” message in the Pampers app?
If you see a “Too many attempts” or similar message, it means the system has noticed several repeated code requests or incorrect entries and has temporarily paused sending new 2FA emails to protect your account. This usually fixes itself after a short wait, so the best step is to take a break and try again later.
What you can do:
- Don’t keep tapping “Resend code” or entering codes.
- Fully close the Pampers app.
- On your phone, swipe the app away from your recent apps list or force close it.
- Wait at least 1–2 hours. For best results, give it a little longer (for example, try again later in the day or the next day).
- Open the app and log in or sign up as normal.
- When prompted, request a new code once.
- Check your SMS App for the latest message.
- If the issue keeps happening
- Make a note of your email address, mobile number, what you were doing, and the message received (ideally a screenshot)
- 'Contact Us' using the button in the footer below for assistance.
What if my code email arrived but the code or link says it’s expired or invalid?
If you see a message that your 2FA code or link is “expired” or “invalid,” it’s usually because the code has timed out or you’ve requested a newer one. Always use the code from the most recent SMS you received.
What you can do:
- Only use the code from your most recent SMS
- If you requested several codes, earlier ones no longer work.
- Open the newest Pampers code email and use that code.
- Enter the code as soon as you receive it
- Codes are time-limited for your security.
- If you wait too long, the code may expire.
- If you see the “expired” or “invalid” message again
- Go back to the app and tap “Resend code.”
- Wait for a new code SMS to arrive, then use it immediately.
- If you repeatedly get this error
- Double-check you’re not mixing up emails or codes.
- If it still doesn’t work, close the app, wait a few minutes, then try again with a fresh code.
- If the issue keeps happening, make a note of your email address, mobile number, what you were doing, and the message received (ideally a screenshot) and 'Contact Us' using the button in the footer below for assistance.
