We understand it might come as a surprise to see the coupon barcode flickering! Rest assured, it's technology designed to prevent discount coupons from being misused. We encrypt them, but they still scan just like a normal barcode at the checkout counter.
Why didn’t the scanner read the barcode?
If the scanner didn't read your barcode, don't worry; scanners can be temperamental at times. Here are some tips to help:
-
Brightness and Connection: Make sure your phone’s brightness is set to high and you have a good phone signal or WIFI connection.
-
Timing: Open the coupon only when you're ready to pay, as it’s active for just a few minutes once opened.
-
Holding Still: Hold your phone still for about 3-4 seconds to allow the scanner to capture the code.
What should I do if I'm having trouble using the coupon in-store?
If you’re currently in-store and having trouble getting the coupon to scan, try these tricks:
-
Place Phone on a Flat Surface: It might be easier to place your phone down on a flat surface for the cashier to scan it from above.
-
Manual Entry: If the barcode isn’t recognised, click the 'show barcode number' button and ask the cashier to manually enter the code.
-
Store Manager Assistance: Pampers Club e-coupons are accepted at Tesco and Co-Op stores. However, individual stores may sometimes have difficulty scanning them. If you continue to experience issues, please speak to the store manager for assistance.
Can I use the coupon with other offers or promotions?
Remember, coupons can only be used for the items listed on the coupon and cannot be used in conjunction with other offers or promotions.
